My style of photography is simple, candid, and relaxed.  I want to capture special moments in your family's life and turn them into treasured keepsakes. 

Photography to me is an unique art form...creating and expressing my artistic creativity through photographs.   Having pictures taken should not be torturous or full of tears.  Having pictures taken should be  something to look forward to... full of laughter, smiles, and fun! 

I am always striving to attain a higher level of skill in my photography.  I take photography classes, participate in photo chat groups, and read many books on the subject to learn more and better myself as a photographer, and of course practice, practice, practice!

I have 14 years of experience working with young children as an early childhood educator.  I am a preschool teacher by day, interacting and learning with 19 children each week. 

I also have many years of experience working with domestic animals.  Our family has had 4 dogs, 2 cats, and  31 ducklings over the years, and I feel I have a special connection with animals. 

Photographs can be taken in my home studio, in the comfort of your home or at your favorite location near the Rochester area.  Bring your own props or use mine.  Comfortable and relaxed is my ideal studio.  I am ready when you are!

I photograph solely in digital format.  Digital images are enhanced and edited before being sent off to a professional lab for developing in beautiful color or black & white photographs.  Online proofs are password protected for your family's safety.
